I have this terrible habit of meeting incredibly nice, “normal,” wonderful men, yet I can't find Mister Right. Some say I have high standards ... yet I feel like I am like any 23-year old female searching for the man of her dreams. I (a 23-year old female) am searching for a 24-28-year old Ivy League Grad (except Cornell and Yale and maybe Penn) who lives in a trendy urban neighborhood near gourmet supermarket with sophisticated cheese selections and olive bar. Must be AT LEAST 6' 0", max weight 190 lbs., shaggy brunette hair, athletic physique (chest/waist ratio = .30). Must be fiscally conservative, yet a social leftist. Acceptable professions include: Lawyer, Doctor, I-banker, Veterinarian; HOWEVER it is essential that company/affiliated hospital has an avant-garde paternal leave clause. Permissible college majors: Economics, Applied Mathematics, Pre-Med, Pre-Law. Interests: Eastern/Western philosophy and religion, pan-Asian cuisine, fluffy kitties (YET MANLY). Conversational/business Chinese necessary in addition to 2 romantic languages and ability to recite by heart prologue to Falubert's Madame Bovary. SAT score at least 1530. Family history must not include the following: hypertension, acne vulgaris, obesity, lazy-eye, halitosis; (shin splints and past history of pinkeye - ok). Must be cordial to (but not "buddy-buddy" with) former girlfriends (max: 2). Intuitive, firm believer of astrology, clever and quick witted – equally comfortable conversing at estate functions or fixing an overflowing toilet. I have never had a boyfriend before because I am waiting patiently for “Mr. Right.” Just when I think I've found him, it turns out that he wears a size 13 shoe (9-11 only accepted). I don't get it – Am I hanging out in the Wrong Clubs or drinking my double-tall nonfat lattes in the Wrong Coffee Shops? I am growing frustrated and impatient as I go from guy to guy not finding Mr. Right!
